    Horizon Treatment Center (HTC) is a private outpatient counseling clinic that specializes in mental health, behavioral health
    and substance abuse rehabilitation and therapeutic treatment services.  HTC opened its doors in 2004.  HTC is located in
    Southfield, MI, on the S.E. corner of 9 Mile and Southfield Road.

    Horizon Treatment Center provides the following comprehensive quality services: substance abuse intensive outpatient (IOP),
    traditional outpatient mental health & substance abuse counseling, dual diagnosis services, psychological testings, court
    services for DLAD assessments (driver's license restoration for DUI's & OUI's), on-site drug screenings, social security
    disability evaluations, person center planning, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) individual, family, couples and group therapy
    for residents of Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw, and Macomb Counties.  

    Horizon Treatment Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations
    (JCAHO), and Licensed by the State of Michigan Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.

    Horizon Treatment Center offers a broad range of evaluations and therapeutic services, many of which can be tailored to
    individual needs, and to people of all age groups.  Our focus is to ensure the most comprehensive, individualized, rapidly
    accessible mental health, mental illness, substance abuse and behavioral health care services.  Clients are directly involved in
    every aspect of their treatment, including the admission, therapeutic and treatment planning, discharge process, aftercare and
    follow up services.  

    Horizon Treatment Center’s experienced professional staff and administrative support team work together to ensure that
    assessment and treatment approaches are comprehensive, individualized and focused on skill development and improved
    functioning. The program staff are Master's and/or PhD level Clinicians that are diversely trained and skilled both in
    identification of clinical issues, court proceedings, confidentiality, culture sensitivity and professionalism.  All programs are
    supervised by our Board Certified Medical Director and overseen by our Multidisciplinary Treatment Team.
